How do I recharge the DBS1400 Pro?
For single DBS1400 Pro unit, you can charge it with standard AC (1800W), solar panels (1200W Max), AC + solar panels (2400W Max).
How many solar panels can I use to charge DBS1400 Pro?
The DBS1400 Pro can be charged with solar panels that have an MC4 connector, with a maximum input of 1200W. The combined voltage and current of the solar panels must be between 12-60 volts and under 25 amps.
In additional, DBS2100B expandable battery also has standalone solar charging capability with maximum 1200W input. The combined voltage and current of the solar panels must be between 12-60 volts and under 25 amps.
Can I use other brands of solar panel to charge?
Yes, you can use most solar panels with MC4 connectors. Dabbsson uses a standard XT60 port for solar recharging. Ensure you use a sturdy MC4 to XT60 cable or use the solar charging cable that come with Dabbsson power station and make sure that the solar panels meet the specific requirements of the Dabbsson power station.
How does DBS1400 Pro parallel connection work？
By connecting 2x DBS1400 Pro using Dabbsson parallel connector, you can get maximum 4600W output to power bigger appliances.
How to connect DBS1400 Pro to app?
First you'll need to download Dabbsson App from the app store or Dabbsson official website. Then connect your phone to home Wi-Fi and turn on the bluetooth. After that, you can choose to search the nearby Dabbsson devices or add DBS1400 Pro manually according to the steps.
How do I update the firmware?
First, connect DBS1400 Pro to the app and ensure the network is working. Then, go to the firmware section in the power station settings within the app to check for updates and follow the steps to complete the process.
What is the DBS1400 Pro battery cycle life?
Using EV Semi-Solid LiFePO4 batteries, DBS1400 Pro has a 4000 + 500 (extra cycles with BMS) before the capacity drop to 80%+. (Tested in lab under 25℃ environment)
How to store and maintain DBS1400 Pro portable power station?
1. To make the most use of the battery life, we recommend using the portable power station in an environment of 20℃ to 30℃ and keep it away from water and heating source .
2. For long-term storage, discharge the battery to 30% and recharge it to 60% every three months.
3. For safety reasons, Dabbsson power station should be store in a dry environment and the temperature should be between 45℃ and -10℃.
How to use Dabbsson EPS function?
When a power outage occurs, Dabbsson EPS automatically switches to battery power within 15ms to keep your appliance running.
Simply connect the Dabbsson power station to a wall outlet, then plug in the appliance you want to protect. Enable standby mode and set the power station's AC timeout to 'Never' in the Dabbsson App to ensure it's always on.
In this setup, the power station operates in pass-through mode, allowing grid power to flow through to the appliance. If the grid power fails, it seamlessly switches to battery power within 15ms to keep your protected appliances always on.
Can I use EPS mode all the time？
Yes, you can.
For battery lifespan consideration, discharge the power station normally to 30% and charge it back up in every 30 days.
How to achieve 11364Wh expandable capacity?
Connect two DBS1400 Pro (1382Wh each) using the Dabbsson parallel connector and add four DBS2100B expandable batteries (2150Wh each) to get maximum 11364Wh capacity.
How to add an expandable battery to the power station？
1. Connect the expandable battery cable while both the main unit and expandable battery are turned off. Insert the cable into the main unit first, followed by the battery.
2. If the expandable battery cable is connected while both the main unit and battery are powered on, a restart will be required.
